After implementing the latest eLearning, IBM wanted to know if it was spending its money wisely or if it should go back to more traditional styles of education. Through the conducted research, they discovered that they were the employees who used the new eLearning learned five times more content compared to those who attended traditional education. The reasons for the success of eLearning were presented in an analysis whose summary states that eLearning participants had educational lessons constantly available, which enabled them to learn when they felt most ready to learn and from the place where they felt most comfortable. The contents were designed as micro-lessons in which the information was created in smaller, more digestible parts, which made it easier for the participants to store the contents in their memory easier and faster and made it much easier for them to understand how the concepts interact. The contents were also designed in a virtual, dynamic, fun and interactive way, which stimulated the interest of the participants and involved them in the learning process much more than traditional education. No less important was the fact that the participants could repeat the material until they mastered it completely, and they received immediate feedback on the level of success in mastering the material.
